Main responsibilities:

Line manager for 2 squads in Search department: Android and Web, for a total of 10 engineers (mostly FTEs).

· 1:1s

· Coach and mentor engineers

· Create and/or Follow up on Development plans aligned with Company's career framework.

· Responsible for team's ways of working

· Responsible for team's delivery

· Provide and encourage a culture of feedback

· Monitor staffing and identify capacity gaps

· Ensure engineering standards (test coverage, architecture, good practices)

· Stakeholder management and close collaboration with product managers and designers

Must have:

· Solid experience managing individual contributors

· Solid background in engineering (ideally as an engineer)

· Experience with agile methodologies

Nice to have:

· Background in Android

· Experience with Kanban or Lean

· Experience with empowered teams and close collaboration with product managers and designers

This assignment is managed by FILL that has the exclusive end client relationship. Consultants presented to FILL through Commended will be priced at their indicated rate +4%
